Ferociously fierce and trendy, our fave feline-inspired sunglasses are officially back in style. (Tbh did they ever go out of style?) I’ve always been a huge fan of the cat eye sunglasses.
Even though I wouldn’t classify my style as romantic and feminine, I couldn’t resist sporting this DVF little black dress (LBD). As someone who has difficulty finding dresses, this billowing high/low skirt at the bottom proves to be extremely helpful. The dress is about 36 1/2″ long in the front and 41″ in the back (as taken from a size 8 measurement). So, tall girls, I’ve added some dresses in this post that are at least 35″ long, and I hope that will be helpful!
Need a last minute 4th of July outfit? Fear not! These maxi dresses are here to save the day. Some of these maxi dresses come in a variety of colors (numbers 1 & 5) and range from $20-$30! The other choices on this list are a bit pricier, but I wanted to make sure I gave you the full range of options to choose from (if you feel like splurging).
Also, these dresses can be a great transitional pieces, especially for going from dartying (day partying) to relaxing evening BBQs. Honestly, the maxi dress should just be called “the most convenient fashionable attire ever”. For real. I love wearing mine because I can literally throw my swimsuit on underneath and then have my outfit ready to go for the rest of the day. If you want to hear more about my obsession with these dresses, feel free to reference my other article here, and check out the options below!
That’s all I have for now (doing some 4th of July planning!), so stay tuned for all the new posts coming up next week! Have a fabulous weekend!
THE MAXI DRESSES
As you guys know, this upcoming weekend is 4th of July weekend. While there’s a fine line between being festive and cheesy, I’ll still be sporting my festive Americana gear and overalls. In my experience, I’ve found that denim is perfect for this holiday weekend. First, it’s super versatile. Secondly, it has sentimental value and traditional roots in American culture (hello, Levis jeans!).
While co-ords date back to the ’70s, these stylish summer sets are giving me some serious Clueless nostalgia. Master the co-ords trend with confidence this summer and check out some of the outfits I’ve curated below!
Championing the off-the-shoulder (ots) trend this June, I decided to showcase some of my fave ots pieces from Old Navy’s summer collection. While it’s a fad that’s been saturating our insta feeds, there is a good reason for this.
