Old Navy Off-the-Shoulder Ensembles

off the shoulder

Championing the off-the-shoulder (ots) trend this June, I decided to showcase some of my fave ots pieces from Old Navy’s summer collection. While it’s a fad that’s been saturating our insta feeds, there is a good reason for this.

First of all, there are so many different ways to wear ots outfits and so many choices! Secondly, they’re a flattering fit for a variety of body types. Aside from Regina George, no one really hates showing off their shoulders. However, if you do fall into the Regina George camp (please make your case bc honestly, I’m sure you can rock the ots ensemble), there are off-the-shoulder outfits with straps that can detract from all the shoulder attention and offer some security in case you’re worried about the sleeves slipping.

We can take note from our 90’s Disney princesses that showed us how to wear this chic silhouette  (i.e. Belle, Pocahantas, Princess Aurora, Jasmine) and rock it with our own modern twist. I’m sporting my ots style with this Old Navy Romper and the Old Navy Maxi Dress below just to demonstrate the different ways in which you can recreate this ots look! So, fashion gals, if you’re ready to kill it in your fave ots attire, check out some of the affordable finds below! As always, feel free to leave any thoughts or questions in the comment box, and Happy Monday!
